I have a solid wood chest of drawers, each drawer has two wooden handles that have been glued on. I do not want to save the wooden handles. How can I remove them without damaging the front of the drawer too much?

Cut handle with a hand saw as close as u can to draw without damaging draw.
Sand area with 100 grit paper to get closer to draw front.
Finish sanding with 400 grit to remove final part of handle and glue.
Chuck
Depends on the glue. If older horsehide glue, you can try dripping hot water in the handle joint. If newer glue, need to follow Chucks advise.
