Im in love with my best friend but she has a jerk boyfriend. What do I do?
Ive known her for 2 years now. She has a jerk boyfriend. She once told me that she wants to break up with her boyfriend but she can't do anything about it. I told her to just break up with her boyfriend if she wants to but she cant, I don't know why. I really love her. What do I do?

Nothing. It is not your place to get involved with this. If she ever breaks up with him, then there is your chance but until then, you have to just sit back.

One thing though... she says she can't break up with him... that's a lie. Clearly she just doesn't want to.

You leave her alone. That is their business. When and if she wants to break up with him she will.

Stay out of their way let them be alone and she won't break up with him because she says she can't so mabey she still likes him. But its not your place to go in their guns blazing just chill till she gets it over and done with then you can have your say!:)

This is a hard question, that I too am faced with. My friend who I have been in love with for 3 years has a boyfriend who is a jerk, he constantly makes her feel unwanted, and she is always complaining to me about him. I have also witnessed his jerkiness first hand. Another thing is she sends out mixed signals for instance inviting me to stay the night on Valentines day, and whenever she invites me round she says things like her parents aren't home.

It makes you feel helpless because although she wants to split with him, she also does not want to, because she is still clinging to him, because deep down although he is a jerk, she loves him. All I have been able to do is be there as a friend when she complains, and I just say its your relationship, its up to you to decided I can't tell you what to do. My current strategy is to show her how much better I am, and show her I can be boyfriend material, that's the problem with being friends for so long, they see you as a friend rather than a boyfriend so you have to find a way to show how much of a jerk the boyfriend is while not letting your emotions get in the way, and while showing her you can be a better boyfriend then her current one.
