    Basement problems
I have a basement with bad heaving of the concrete floor, I was wondering about the best way to fix it and am thinking of chipping it all up and having the whole floor repoured with lots of rebar in it, has anyone had experience doing this and with what success. Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to AMHD.

A lot of dust and work.

After removing floor, find out what is causing the heaving and correct the problem before pouring new floor.

Did one about 20years ago and still good. I used wire mesh.

Thanks the wire mesh sounds like a good idea, as well as making sure I get good compaction and drainage
