    Is there any problems with having two stoves using one chimney.

    Yes... proper flow and drafting aren't possible for one reason... and that makes for a dangerous condition...

    Parttime - many thanks. I had actually thought of old building with shared fireplaces, wondering how they work. This article tells me, they don't. I think I will be using a single wood burner in the main room and radiators in the new extension
