Ask your mom or someone older who you are close to? Don't be worried your mom went through it when she was a kid!

"mom I think it is time we went and shopped for a bra, where do you suggest we go ?"

All there is to it, you are making a way too big of worry out of something every girl does.

What do you consider a "realistic" answer? From your post it would appear that you have read through similar threads on this issue (your post was probably moved to its own thread because we don't allow piggybacking on other threads). So what was wrong with other answers?

This is a simple thing; Mom my breasts are starting to develop and I think I need a bra, when can we go shopping? What can be more realistic? Go up to mom and lift your top up and say lets go bra shopping?
