    Fix Shower Water Diverter
I went to pull the shower diverter up and the knob that was screwed onto the diverter fell off. I now am unable to have a shower.
I did see video once on how to fix it (and I did the first time this happened). Unfortunately, this is round 2 and I can't find the video anywhere. I guess I'm not asking the right question, or using the right words!
I tried to fix it myself, but I am obviously not putting the round thing that covers the hole inside the spout in the proper location and I just can't figure out which way it's supposed to go.
This is just a cheap Canadian Tire Generic tub spout/diverter, but it's all I've got and I'd love to have a shower in the morning.
    Help!

You can buy the whole spout and diverter at HD or Lowe's. Most screw off, some need an Allen wrench. Look under the spout and see if there is sn Allen agree. If not, carefully twist off the spout.

Would this be your tub spout? Back to you, Tom
