    Ovulation
My period normal come on every 23 days but this time my period came on the 24th day. Well I'm using this app on my iPhone call period tracker that keeps up with my period times and when I ovulate.well for one I don't know how accurate it is because I've done a ovulation calculator online, several, and they all give me different ovulation times.in July my period started on the 3rd ended on the 7th. Then in August came on came on the 1st ended the 4th and the calendar say I'm fertile 6-1o ovulate the 11 and fertile the 12th. Well I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend today(the14th) and I'm wanting to know is this stuff accurate and could I still get pregnant IF the app was right, with me doing some 2days after supposeofly ovulating? Because I am trying to conceive.

That Iphone app is about as accurate as if you decided to use Tarot cards, or a Gypsy fortune teller. Which means its not accurate at all.

There is NO possible way it can tell if you are ovulating or not... and you won't know if you haven't been taking and keeping a basal temperature chart.

Thus most of your post has absolutely no value past the part where you said you had sex, and since you had sex pregnancy is possible.

You are welcome... most women are not aware how inconsistent the ovulation process is between women in general. You could put 30 women in a room who's periods are in sync, and most of them will ovulate at different times than the others.

Yes, you are better off playing a video game than using those phone apps for this.

Well if my cycle is 23-24days every month faithfully when would say I'd probably be ovulating? And I seen something that said some about precise and fixed days far as trying to conceive -what's the difference and meaning of the two far as talking pregnancy?

It means everything if you are having problems concieving or if you are ina hurry.

You can't possibly guess WHEN you ovulate during the month unless you are actually and actively doing daily Basal temperature chart readings.

Its not consistent between women when it occurs, and there are no other reliable symptoms.

By that you might as well be looking at the phase of the moon... meaning those apps are essentially worthless.

Until you start and keep a Basal Temprature chart for serveral months... none of that other stuff matters because that cell phone app is absolutely worthless for its intended purpose.
