    Burning/tingling sensation while peeing
Hi, I'm an 18 year old female. I have had a burning/tingling sensation when I pee for the past few days, but I don't really have a constant urge to pee frequently. I'm also on my period so I don't know if my urine is bloody. I had sex a week ago after a few months of abstinence. I've been drinking a lot of water, hoping to flush the bacteria out, and so far, the burning has decreased. I normally do not drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, and I have heard that dehydration leads to vaginal burning. I also thought it might be UTI, but none of the other symptoms match except for the burning. What could it be?

UTI, STD (if you think you could have caught one during sex), or plain old irritation (maybe even a small cut from a fingernail or ?). Just not possible to know without testing.

Sounds like the beginning of a UTI. Drink plenty of cranberry juice while you wait for your doctor's appointment.
