Can you strenthen a load bearing wall to run piping threw it?

How big is the pipe and the wall you want to go through? You may not have to do anything.

also need to know the size of studs, 2x4 or 2x6.

What do you want to run through the wall? Water pipes? 2" drainage? a 3" stack?
Just how wide is this wall anyhow? Are you going through it vertically or horizontally?

Sorry about the lack of information. It is a 2x4 wall, I will be running a 1.5 inch drain line horizontally. I need to go threw three studs. Building a 2x6 wall in front of the load bearing wall is not an oppition.

U can install a double 2x6 header to the next studs on each side with jack studs to support the header.

Be sure to protect the pipe with steel nail plates on each side of 2x4. This will keep u from putting nail or screw in by mistake.
