    Lawsuits dealing with racial comments!
I stay in Michigan and I have a question about lawsuits based of racial comments. I recently was verbal harassed  by a lady that works at a District
Court office! She called me a racial slur repeatedly  while I tried to discuss some business I had with her over the phone and I know the call was recorded!I am doing research on racial slur lawsuits and just wanted some good advice to steer me in the right direction. Thank You

The problem here is that rudeness is not illegal. This was not a public conversation and I don't see how this damaged you. So I don't see where you have any case against the person.

If you can show that this person has done this before, that its been reported to her superiors and they have not taken action, you might have some sort of a case. But again, proving damages is the issue.

I'm not sure you have a case to sue them, they could fire the person if you complained to the company... also if THEY recorded the conversation and wanted to make it go away they could destroy the recording and claim they don't record all calls.

I think your best bet is to compalin to her supervisor but I don't think you could sue them.
