    Child support
I applied for cash assistance because me and my boyfriend are low on funds and need help until we are back on our feet but I don't want to put him on child support because he's doing his job what should I do?

You make him pay support for HIS kids. Its his LEGAL obligation.

The government will and should go after him... why should he get a free ride when those of us who DIDN'T sleep with you have to pay for it.

Doesn't matter, that's the law... he gets a second job if he has to... his kid, his obligation. Or you get a second job if you have to.

You won't get welfare without naming the father... and they WILL go after him for it. That's how the system works.

If you can prove that you are living together and he is contributing to the household, then it should be a problem. However, if you aren't the state will want to make sure he is paying his share before the taxpayers foot the bill.
