I was with my girlfriend for 1 year and about 2 months. We had such an amazing relationship and we were so strong together. She broke up with me 5 days ago but we have spoken a few times since. I saw her 2 days ago and we were acting like we were together, kissing, hugging etc. since then she's said she can't be with me but she still loves me and does want to be with me. Its confusing me.

Today she's said she wants no contact whatsoever, as it is making things harder. I just don't understand, she wants to be with me and she loves me.

Staying away from your significant other is hard to either party in a break up. But regardless, she will be able to accomplish it, she has made her decision about this relationship, go no contact, stay busy, and start moving on. Sticking around until she finds someone else will only end up hurting you in the long run.

Relationships take more than just love and fun times together. I've broken up with someone that I still loved and wanted to be with because there was no future and he couldn't offer me what I wanted. It's so damn hard to let go of someone you love but I can def understand her request. She's right. It only makes things harder. Respect her wishes and work on moving forward.
