Proposal payments-in case of death-would my children be responsible to creditors
If a proposal was accepted and regular payments were made to creditors, but a balance was remaining on the death of the debtor. Can the family members (adult children) be made responsible for that parents debt? Is the debt automatically discharged?

I think it depends on if you were involved, like if he had credit cards and there was a card in your name then yes, the debt is yours, take a look at this link, in most cases the debt does not get passed on to the family
