I kenyan citizen who has cleared bachelors degree studies, I recently applied for a job in the SHELL OIL & GAS CO. UK and got a trainning and employment chance in the company.

I have since been told to apply for the VISA ,where I was required to pay GBP 480,for the visa application fee before they could pay for my VISA and air ticket.so I was requesting if you could verify if the job offer is genuine and if the fee I am supposed to pay is valid.please advise

The travel agent bit sounds like a scam.

You will have had an interview before you were offered a place, did this happen?
