Older amana air conditioner model ARCF60U01E compressor stopped running. There seems to be oil underneath it. If it needs to be replaced are there refribished or used units available for sale?

Unless you can find a used one it will need to be replaced with a new one. You might consider a complete new outside unit since compressors and labor will cost almost as much.
