I have a DUERR Pro 240-622-062/E21065 log splitter with a 5 HP Briggs and Stratton engine. I have a manual for the splitter but do not have a manual for the engine. The model number plate is missing from the engine. I need the B & S model No. for the engine and the B & S part number for the gas tank. My gas tank has a hole in it.

Duerr is out of business. Little way to find out the engine exactly. There are a zillion tanks. The two most common are #494600 and 492927, but that is no guarantee. No numbers stamped into the top of the starter(blower) housing? Up near the spark plug?
