I need to know if I will pass a hair follical test
Okay so 5 months ago I used to smoke pot like 4 times a week like January and February... Then I laid low a little bit and have smoked 5 times since then... I get haircuts every 2 weeks and my hair is short. The last time I smoked was 5 weeks ago... What are the chances of me passing?

On the 5 occasions that you smoked... how much? What was the interval between each occasion.

Also, what is your gender, weight and height?

Personal bet it will be close. Of course there are other places they can get hair if they are not happy with the head.

You should be all right. THC-COOH the only metabolite of concern has an extremely low rate of incorporation into hair and requires a continuing presence, usually a couple of times per week, to register on a hair test.

What worries just a little is that experienced smokers maximize the amount of THC absorbed. To date that hasn't proved to be a factor. Mostly it is the low affinity for hair that is determinative.

All of you light and infrequent smokers should praise the day that commercial labs started promoting hair testing. Virtually a free pass.

Ref: Musshoff F, Madea B. (2006) Review of biologic matrices (urine, blood, hair) as indicators of recent or ongoing cannabis use. There Drug Monit. Apr 2006;28(2):155-63 “In contrast to other illicit drugs, hair analysis lacks the sensitivity to act as a detector for cannabinoids”

They took it from my leg hair for some reason, does that make a difference?

Slower growth rate expanding the time of detection. But, to the best of my knowledge, THC is no more apt to incorporate into body hair than scalp hair.

Axillary hair (arm pit), chest hair and pubic hair have all been time tested but not leg hair. However it has basically the same structural content so doubt that THC made it's way in. In fact, it's probably safer than head hair.
