On my period but it was lighter then normal, I am now experiencing some pregnancy symptoms e.g. feeling sick, headaches, dizzyness and loss of appetite etc I took a yet two weeks later and it came out negative but can I still be pregnant?

The only 100% to know is to wait to see if you miss a period and then test again. Basically it sounds like you got your period, just lighter than usual.

If you have pregnancy symptoms, of course, you have a reason to be concerned.

So is there a way to find out if I am even before I miss my period?

Not with any form of accuracy. For a test to be accurate it should be done after a missed period.

You took the test too early, two weeks is not enough time, if you had sex shortly before the period it is possible that you can be. You will will not know till it is time for the next period and you miss ( or not miss) it

If this is just a scare I would consult with a Physician, obtain a form of birth control and use it in connection with condoms. Unprotected sex = children.
