    What is your dog being treated for?
    And what meds is he taking, or rather supposed to be taking?

    Im not too sure. I was away when my mom said it was habing flu and sneezing all the time. The vet gave 3 kinds of pills to stop the flu. But I can't feed it as my dog can't even swallow water. I tried to force feed but it vomited. Its having high fever and shivering. Im quite worried because all vets are closed in my area for the weekend..

    Is there an emergency veterinarian in your area? It would be worth giving them a call.
    Are you checking his temperature with a digital thermometer, if so what was it?

    Nope. There is only 1 place in my area and it is closed. Its about 32 at the moment. The room temperature in my place is about 20 at the current time.

    I'm assuming 32 celsius, which calculates to about 89 fahrenheit, is that correct?
    Help me out Wondergirl, slow browser it would take me forever to go to a conversion site.

    Yes. I had no idea what to do. I remember giving my other dog panadol once and it worked. Is it OK for me ro dilute 2 pills and force feed it? Im sure my dog will vomit out most of it but as long as some goes in it might work?

    Panadol = Acetaminophen

    Did the vet say okay on this? And at what dose?

    Normal temp is 101-102 F, your dog is much to cold.
    Throw some towels, a blanket in the dryer to start and warm her up.

    Do dogs get the flu?
  • Aug 11, 2012, 10:13 AM
    LadySam
    So I am correct in assuming that you are taking the temp in celsius, sorry I'm American and didn't listen to well when studies included the metric system.
