37 weeks pregnant, is my baby nearly here?
Hi I'm 37 weeks pregnant, can anyone tell me how I will know my baby is nearly on the way without my waters breaking or real contractions! Is there anything that will happen to me that means my baby is nearly here! Thank you x

There is no way to know until your water breaks or the contractions start. That is the "official" way I know my patients are in labor. You have only 3 short weeks left. It could happen at any time.

    Congratulations in advance!

    Thank you!
But I've heard that your body is getting ready for when u have lose bowels or when your baby moves more etc! X

Baby moving more is an old wives' tale. However, having loose bowels can be an indication that labor is imminent, but it is not a specific sign of labor itself.

It's a vagina, not a virginia. Virginia is a state in the US, vagina is a sexual organ.

The pain you would feel with contractions would be in your abdomen (belly), not necessarily in your vagina. Most likely the baby is moving down and getting into position and that's why you are feeling this form of discomfort.
