Under what circumstances would you do a Complete blood count test to a test pilot ?

Suppose a pilot has a leukemia, but has not disclosed this information. How long would it take before you do a test that exposes him. Conversely, would you ground that pilot, or suspend his flight license immediately upon finding out.

Leukemia is a dabilitating cancer. I really can't see a test pilot having leukemia, with all of the medications they take, chemotherapy they have to go through, keeping up a flight schedule, let alone keeping it from his or her superiors. Is this person in the military?
