The first day is okay but by the second day I would have to wear a all nighter pad. Is this normal? And is there any way to slow it down?

You can't slow your period down. You can see a doctor, maybe he can give you a form of birth control to help you. You might just have to deal with it, a lot if women have heavy flows. You're not alone.
