    Civil action summons
I received a civil action summons in regards to my deceased fathers home. He died in 2009 and my brother has been living in the home without paying the mortgage. Now the mortgage company is sending this to all relatives involved and asking for a reply.
This house was willed to my nephew (my brothers son) and of course like my squatting brother he also did not [pay the mortgage and as it appears there was no mortgage insurance that covered my father to pay of debts owed.

Do I need to answer this "civil action summons" as I have no connection to the property except blood and neither do I want a connection or claim to said property?

Unless title was changed or this was passed by probated Will your credit is going to go down the tubes, right along with theirs.

Send back an Answer with a copy of the Will. It's not uncommon for EVERYONE to be noticed, because Banks cover all of the bases.
