It depends. How late are you? It is very possible that you are just late, or even completely missed the period for this month. Unfortunately in these situations all you can do is wait and find out.

When you are at least a week late, test using the first urine you pass when you wake up in the morning. If that is negative and you still don't get your period, wait until you are at least 10 days late and ask the doctor to take a blood test.

I have the same problem brown discharge but a week before period now for 3 days and me boyfriend had unprotected sex cpl days ago for 5 days when I visited him and now I'm wondering if I'm pregnant I have been a bit nauses and eating a lot but my stomach is bloated and took a pregnant. Test and came up negative could it be to early to take it should I wait a little more or is it something else also had headaces but no tender breast just a little when I really grab them maybe I'm just hoping I am but am not please help
