Otherwise, scope out how the sink is attached to the countertop. Some units are calked or silicone rubber mounted directly to the counter surface. Some sinks are bolted to the underside by screw clips that are hooked into channel strips on the sink if it is a metal stainless steel sink.
So you see there are a variety of sinks with different ways to disassemble that require a little more than showing a lot... of pictures. Here is a consistent order to start the work...
1. Turn off the electrical circuit breakers for the dishwasher and the garbage disposer wiring under the sink. Put a piece of tap over those breakers as a safety precaution so no one comes along and turns them back on while you are removing the wiring.
2. Disconnect the wires from the wall connection for the disposer.
3. Remove the disposer. This makes for working room and reduces the sink weight for easier lifting.
4. Turn off the water supply valves under the sink and remove the water supply lines connected to the sink faucet.
5. Disconnect the drain p-trap and the dishwasher air gap hoses.
6. If there are any screw clips, you will see them easily with more visible access now. You can remove the clips using a long screwdriver (slotted type end)
7. once that's done, you will need a thin bladed knife to loosen and pry up the sink all the way around the edges.
8. Once that is accomplished then you can lift the sink out. Use the faucet and the sink hole where the disposer was removed for the lifting handles.
So there it is... real easy wasn't it. Nm
