Subpoening a six year old in Georgia
I am going through a court hearing in Georgia regarding a guardingship of my six year old grand son. The hearing is in two days and today we received a subpoena for the six year old to appear. Is this legal? Thank you

Yes it is legal, if the child needs an attorney at the hearing you can request one be provided to protect the child's best interest ( that is not YOUR interest but the child's

I would assume you had already been served and you had to be there, I am also assume they just want the child in the court room, since I have never seen or heard of a 6 year old being questioned ;in GA court. But at times a judge may have smaller children in his chambers and talked to without other parties present
