Hi to everyone !
My problem is that after power company did it's maintenance in the night, next morning I realized that no electric plugs are working in one of the basement rooms . The light is O.K. the other 2 rooms are O.K. as well as a bathroom .So just one room all 4 plugs are out of power . We checked the breaker related to this room and found that it tripped of , but there is no way to reset it back on , it trips off right away . Is it a problem with a fuse ? If yes , where can we find it ?

Explain that please. I don't see a connection between the power company doing work and problems internal to your home.

By any chance does this breaker have a reset button that the other breakers don't have? If so do you mean you are pressing that reset button?

Is any thing plugged into any of the outlets?

Yes , you're right . It's just a coincidence , nothing to do with Power company .This breaker has only a TEST button but not RESET one and not all other breakers have the same button .
Nothing's plugged in to any of the outlets .And nothing powerful was used in this room .Only cellphone charger, TV and a computer tower , alarm clock .That's it . I'm still thinking about a fuse...

That is a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) breaker. I can't tell from you post whether it is tripping from a ground fault or from over load. If nothing is plugged in I don't see how it could be over load. Remove all appliances and try reseting breaker.

The breaker is the fuse.

Look around to make sure that there is not an outlet somewhere else that could have a faulty appliance plugged in. Also check out door outlets. Since this is a GFCI circuit, outside outlets could be on this circuit. One of those could have a faulty appliance connected of if you have had rain or a storm moisture could have gotten in an outlet.

O.K. thank you very much , we've found a basement lift pump transformer was partially unplugged .We plugged it back in and reset worked at this time .Thanks a lot for help...
