Last month I used metronidazole vaginal antibiotic for a BV. My husband I also began Trying to conceive. This month my period is lighter than usual, only when I wipe, and is both brown and red, often stringy material. Could this be my body cleansing itself, or is it related to another BV or something. I have no itch, odor, discharge, or pain, just a change in my cycle. And I am certain I am not pregnant. I have already taken a pregnancy test. Just concerned and would love some help, because I worry that this might keep us from conceiving. Thanks!
