I recently purchased a used B & S pressure washer. It starts up and runs fine. However, I have not been able to pump any detergent through the system. Can someone tell me what I am not doing?

Did you fill either the detergent dispenser with cleaning fluid and the drip the suction hose into the dispenser? By the way, I use my pressure washer to clean the deck, sidewalk, side of house from mildew and build up dirt, never do I use the detergent cause the dirt, mildew comes back later anyway, it's the pressure that cleans not so much the detergent.Quote:

If you have the replaceable spray nozzle style put in the black one. DO NOT take the injector apart. You will lose the ball and or spring and it will cause endless grief.
If you are certain that the assembly is stuck be very careful to put it back together correct.
Like the previous poster stated, these are very poor tools for applying chemical Use a pump up sprayer.
