Should I try and get my boyfriend back?
Me and my boyfriend of 1 year broke up a couple weeks ago. At first, I wanted to break up with him because I felt like he didn't care about our relationship as much as I did and I was repeatedly getting hurt.. But he didn't want to break up - he wanted to try and make things work. I thought at the time it was a good decision and I was proud at it at first, but afterwards, I was always sad and now all I can think about is getting him back. Every time we see each other, we kind of just ignore one another but last time I talked to him, he told me he wanted to maybe get back together after a while.. But so much can happen in a while.. All I want is to be with him again, but I don't know what to do.. I miss him so much. I'm going to go crazy. Should I talk to him? Should I give him space?
    Please help.

He wants to get back with you after a while, what does that mean? If he wanted you back, he would want to get back with you now. He wants to keep you in the wings just in case, now that he knows you are wanting him back.
You left him because you felt you weren't being treated right. You are just lonely. I say leave him alone.

He said after a while because he is busy with football right now and that's pretty much his main priority and he doesn't think we'd work out because that's all he'll be doing pretty much.. He wanted to take a break instead of breaking up and get back together when things start to settle down.. I guess I should have added that part in. haha.

You said you had been dating a year and you were repeatedly getting hurt. He wasn't playing football for a year.
I still say he wanted to keep you on a string. You don't take a break from a relationship until things settle down. You break it off or work on it.
    I'd still leave it alone.
If he cares enough about you to work things out and be more attentive, let him come to you.

That makes a lot of sense.. I guess I just miss talking to him. He's the only real relationship I ever had. I have thought about just waiting to see if he'll care enough to come back and try to make things work.. I just don't want to get my hopes up..

You just get on with you life. You can be miserable and lonely by yourself. It makes no sense to be in a relationship with someone and feel that way.
Give yourself some time, you'll get over him and someone better will come along.
