Installation of 120v service to a garage?
Looking to install a 30 amp 208v servicer to a detached garage and was wondering if install the wires in proper conduit can I run it along side, or attach to the bottom of the posts of my privacy fence that runs from the house to the garage? I would then then bury to the required 24" when I go under my sidewalk and up to the end of the garage?
I want to install a couple of outlets along the fence any ways and planned to send separate cable to power those.

    If not 30a/208v, how about 20a/120 v?

    Thanks,

I doubt your home has 208 volts available. I would assume 120 and 240 volts is available.

So you need to determine exactly what voltage is available and what is needed.

Attaching conduit to the fence is fine, providing it is supported properly, generally at maximum 10 foot intervals. Does depend on type and size of conduit.
