So I've been seeing this guy for about 6 months and at first we were going on dates and texting often. We were also sexually active. Well I noticed that after a while we never talked on the phone, and the texts came less often. Also we stopped going anywhere together and it was hard to see each other. I asked him if it felt like we were in a relationship, and he said yeah but he didn't want it to be official. He was saying that he and his ex were arguing even though they stopped recently, and that she's been trying to get back with him. I'm starting to wonder if I was being played and if I should continue being friends with him or not... please help I'm so confused and I need some advice.

Get the hell out of dodge. If after 6 months he's not willing to call you his girlfriend then he either has commitment issues or is just using you for the company and the sex. It's not a good indicator of your future together.

Uggghh and the ex is still in the picture. Good riddance. You deserve to be with someone that can give you 100% and is proud to have you as his girlfriend.

I agree I would let him go. Not sure your age but you should never settle for someone he doesn't want to be "official". That is basically saying hey can we have sex with no strings attached. Let him go
