PVC stuck on drain pipe in bathroom
    Hi,

I had to remove the PVC piping under my bathroom sink, due to something valuable getting stuck in the drain. When I removed it, the PVC broke in half. One half of it is now stuck on the drain pipe leading to the wall. I have tried to pull it, unscrew it, chip away at it and it is still stuck up there.

Any ideas on how I can remove it without breaking the drain pipe or calling a plumber to come in and fix it.

    Thanks

It is most likely glued together. Without a picture, it a bit difficult to tell but you should be able to cut the pipe off, leaving about a 2" stub and then buy a double female connector. The best alternative is to cut the pipe as above and cement a trap adapter on the end.
