I have a set of 9 sketches by Hal Mize of Seattle. I can not seem to find much information about him on Google. Does anyone know their worth or how old they may he or they may be?

Hal Mize did excellent work -- I have two of his sketches. He also went by the name of Harold Mize. I don't know much about him or whether he is still alive (I doubt his sketches are worth much since I paid $10 for each); however, one can find a listing of his works at: http://www.copyrightencyclopedia.com/[mount-rainier-overlooking-lake-washington-seattle]-[gig/#b
Hope this helps.
I have just seen 4 what looks like original prints by Hal Miz for £2 each in a junk shop, are they worth buying ?
Thanks for the web site that helps me too. I have one signed ink drawing by Mize Washington State Ferries At Seattle Terminal.
Hal Mize was an awesome artist, he enjoyed doing Pen and Ink, he never really cared about being a famous artist but enjoyed doing drawings he liked. He did not start drawing until after he retired and took up drawing as a hobby. Hal died in the early 90's. I know he sold his art work by doing calendars, I talked Hal into selling me one of his signed prints for $20 but he really did not want to sell his art work separately. He had a good perspective and did a lot of his work visually but at times he would use a straight edge, when drawing structures, buildings or other rigid objects. Each drawing took him a many hours and he did not mass produce any individual pictures. So to put a value on his work.. do you enjoy his work! I do and have for many years as I have a nice collection of his art. I figured he was an under rated artist who never received recognition he should have. I would not sell one of his prints under $75. Hope this helps,
