I would really like to know from a doc/nurse practitioner concerning the question below. Okay, so I missed a few pills throughout the month, probably around mid-month. I am now 4 days into the sugar pills and am only discharging a dark somewhat thicker fluid. The occasional "new" blood appears, but I have always had heavy "new" blood periods. I recently had a pap and my resluts were clear, so it cannot be cancer. I have a 26 month old and have been told that if my uterus has still not returned to it's normal size this could be a commen issue. Please advise, should I wait until the discharge stops completely and take an OTC test or am I simply overreacting due to all of the unreliable information on the net?
