    Im trying to find a relay switch on my kenmore refrigerator. Where is it located ?

    There is a relay switch on the compressor. It is actually a start relay/ compressor overload combination. It is under the compressor electrical safety cover. In most cases it actually just plugs into the compressor. Now this might not be the relay you are looking for but it is the only actual relay I know of on a refrigerator of this type.

    The relay most common is as HVAC1000 said on the compressor. There are several types of start relays for compressors, and there are universal replacements, but if yours has a run capacitor as the new ones do, don't wire it without one because it will burn out the compressor.
