    Is a wali needed?
    I want to ask that.. Is secret or nikah without wali or witness valid under any circumstances..?

    It is NOT valid! The groom does not need a wali, but the bridea father or. Brother, cousin brother can give MUST give her away and 2 witnesses.

    If she does not have a wali your nikkah. Be INVALID and you will not be married.
