Why am I putting on weight since I do more exercise
Im 31 with type 1 diabetes. I'm also taking 3 Ali weight loss tablets per day. I have added a more excercersie to my life style by walking 3 miles a day extra. In the past 6 days since doing the extra 3 mile walks I have put on an extra 2 lbs. I eat a clean diet, my diabetes is under control, I don't drink a lot, I don't drink alcohol I do not smoke, and I'm not pregnant, please could someone explain why I'm putting this weight on? If I cut the walking out, and just eat clean etc, I loose weight, as soon as I add exercise to my clean diet, I put on weight. Y is this please? It's really upsetting
    Regards

    Hey
This is a very frustrating situation and there are a few questions you need to ask yourself is your diet really clean because drinks are often very calorific also it may be the case that your body is turning the fats into muscle and as muscle is denser than fat it weighs more
    Anyway good luck

I'm sure you realize there is a great deal of discussion concerning the whether Ali tablets work.

Is your Physician aware that you, a Diabetic, are taking them?

Exercise builds muscle which weighs more than fat. That might be the case.

Are you on a Physician-recommended diet?

Theirs 2 things that could be going on here you decide which is your problem.

1.Walking is to easy so your heart rate is not getting up enough to burn calories. Kind of like if you were 5 years old a 3lb weight would have built muscle while now a 3lb weight will show 0 results.

2.Like judy said you may be building muscle so it causes you to gain weight.
