A body starts from rest and falls vertically through a height of 19.6m . If g=9.8m/s2 then the time taken by the body to fall through the last metre of its fall is? Ans :0.05 sec please solve it..

First you need to calculate the time it takes for a body to fall 19.6m Use the fundamental equation

    and solve for t where x(t) = -19.6m, x_0 and v_0 =0, and a=g = -9.8m/s^2.

Then do the same for x(t) = 18.6m, then take the difference of the two times.
