I am a us citizen and army soldier and I have one of my friend he is from Afghanistan , I want to adopt him cause his life is in danger and I don't want him to be in his country and lose his life one day . Probably not.

This is DEFINITELY a situation for consulting a lawyer specializing in international adoption, but I highly doubt you can adopt him. You MAY be able to sponsor him, but again--you need to talk to a lawyer.

I don't know. That's more of an international law question, and you may not be able to sponsor him. Unless he claims asylum, or is going to school (in which case your sponsorship would include paying for his education in some cases) or has a job, he may not be able to come even with a sponsor.

Why is he unable to emigrate to the US without your help?

If you sponsor him then if his visa is approved, he will get to come to the US. But he will need to apply though the US embassy there. And of course he may lose his life here, there is no for sure in life, We knew a soldier make it though 3 tours in Iran and or Afgan. He came home and was killed in a robbery.

Most people there are not killed, they live their every day lives without any problems.
