OK so I told my friend how I felt about her and she told me it made her uncomfortable and told me to just slowdown... the next day she was asking me if I wanted to join her for dinner, I couldn't go because it was my sister's birthday but the following day we hung out. We had lunch and we to the mall so we were togther for a couple of hours, I know she told me to slow down and just be friends and I respect that I'll give her that if.. but I don't know why after you tell me it made you uncomfortable when I told her how I felt, she wanted to hang out does anyone is this weird or normal ? Which leads me to my question is she unsure and still wants to get to know me more or she's content with just being friends?

Another thing she did before she went on vacation was she took my email then she took a picture of me on her iPhone

Welcome to the reason women piss men off all the time! LOL! I am a woman but I love the saying "How can a man know what a woman wants, if a woman doesn't know what a woman wants." My advice you told her how she feels. Its good that she totally didn't just blow you off, however you have to decide if she's unsure what she wants or if she is using you. In my experience if a girl is unsure of her feelings she lets they relationship move forward, slowly. Like a kiss on the cheek, a movie cuddle session, more 1 on 1 time feeling things out. She is using you if you say I love you and she says lets be friends and the next day your at the mall buying her everything she thought looked pretty. Just be yourself and see where it takes you

It seems like even though she is not wanting to involve herself with you romantically, she wants to be your friend, she enjoys your company. Respect her decision, she will give signs if she ever changes her mind, if being a friend does not interest you, then move on, if it does, then be her friend.

Like I said this is why women piss men off. You have played your hand, now let her play hers. However, I agree with if your looking for more than friendship and she really isn't trying to make it happen move on. Even if your not wanting to.
