My partner and I nave been together for 13 years and have 2 children.. we have never had a brilliant relationship but over the past few years things have been better.. However he struggles to give me any attention or affection.. the only time I get affection is through sex.. I feel so lonely.. he won't tallk to me about things.. I have discussed going aur separate ways but he says he doesn't want me to.. He also tends to put me down in front of friends if we go out together.. I'm getting so unhappy with my life and am so confused as to whether our relationship is worth saving... Help.

Have you tried couples' counceling? Have you asked him what is wrong? Maybe he has a lot of stress or he is upset about something.

No have not tried counselling, but don't think its something he would do.. I have tried talking to him many times but I get nothing back. He sometimes admits that he is wrong but I just can't deal with it, I am at the end of my tether with it. Thanks for the reply
