Husband works very closely with female assistant. He has brought their friendship home. He doesn't want me to be upset with her because he told me he's the one who encouraged her freedom to text anytime of the day for any help she may need. Past female co workers have confided in him with personal problems but that always stayed in work place. 17 months, 10 months of therapy for myself and I have grown but can't get past the at home texts at 12 midnight.

I wouldn't try to get past the texts at Midnight. Why does he feel he's a qualified marriage counselor if his own wife had to go into therapy?

I'd talk to him about this - and I'd be very, very serious.

She shouldn't be texting him at home... especially at midnight. The fact that he allows this while not caring what you think about it shows that he's a complete idiot.

He needs a talk... a long talk.
