Sounds like you miscarried. I'd go to the ER. They will first check to see if there is a heartbeat. If you have miscarried, you will go in for a DNC. I hope you haven't. It's emotionally hard. I've been through it. Prayers out to you.

At 4.5 weeks, it would be near impossible to detect a heartbeat, and a D&C is not always necessary, especially this early on. Typically bleeding coupled with cramping or pain does indeed indicate either a miscarriage or a threatened miscarriage.

The best thing for you to do is either contact your doctor to see if you can get in today, or go to the ER.

J_9- Not sure why you found my post inaccurate considering I basically said the same thing you did.

No, you didn't. At 4.5 weeks it is virtually impossible to detect a heartbeat via ultrasound. Also, at 4.5 weeks there is no need for a D&C as the products of conception pass on their own at this stage of pregnancy.

Well, I had one and I know others that have as well that early on. Maybe you're not as accurate as you think. Either way, this girl needs prayers. No, I'm not an expert. I'm going off personal experience. Sounds like you've let it go to your head. Thanks for being hateful about it. That ought to score you more rep points.
