(Forwarded) My mother and father stay in the same house with my family, wife and daughter. But recently my wife has been complaining to separate and even if I have means for that I don't want to do so, because my parents are old and sick and I look after them. My wife just does the cooking when I'm outside the house. What can I tell her?

Separate how? You and her divorce? Or you and your family live separate from your parents?

I think you are saying she wants to live separate from your parents.

Explain your reasons to her. Tell her you are worried about them. (if their health is failing I would be especially concerned with winter coming on so quickly)

Find a way for her to get time away from the home so she can spend some time apart from your parents, maybe spend an afternoon with a friends wife every so often.

Remember that though it may not make sense to you, she is obviously unhappy with this arrangement.
