Which wire to cut on digital stove clock
Please help! Older self ignited gas magic chef stove... digital clock keeps beeping. Only stops if set timer. I don't need it... there are two black and one white wires coming from it. Can I cut them to stop it without messing up oven operations? Please help and thank you! I don't know model number.

I'm not positive but I would imagine it just works as a switch. If you have a voltage tester see if the only live wire is 1 of the blacks. If just 1 does and if it is and it were my fridge, I'd try cutting just the white, and cap it. Leaving enough wire in case I need to splice it back. If that didn't work, I'd cut both blacks as well, after marking 1 of them on both sides of the cut, and leaving enough to splice everything back the way it was. Then I'd splice the 2 blacks together. That said I'm not an appliance guy, and just making an educated guess.
