I did they were no help I don't think there was an employee in the entire store thst wanted to be bothered

I'd just Goggle the model number of the fan. If that does not bring up anything then I'd either live with it or replace the fan.

These cheap fans are not meant to be repaired or fixed. Same goes for the glass. They turn over models so fast they don't bother with replacements.

Sad but true. Look at retro fit light kits, most can be fitted with a little work.
