    Pa laws regarding trees
I share a property line with a neighbor that has large trees on it. The assumption is that the trees straddle the property line, and the neighbor claims to have had a survey, however I have not seen the survey or any stakes or pins. He claims that one pin is under a very large rock and that the other pin is an old iron fence post. We are having a disagreement over the removal of the trees or portions of the trees. I fear that he will damage my lawn, driveway and shrubs and that my new view will be of his property which is not cared for. How can I stop this from happening and if I can't stop it in time, what recourse do I have after the damage is done and my view is ruined.

You order a Survey. If it appears the triming/removal is going to happen soon you go to your local Court and ask for an order that the work be stopped - or not started.

You don't allow anyone on your property.
