    110 vs 220
I have a dedicated 20 amp 110volt wall outlet for my AC. I need a 14000 BTU unit and the only one I can find are rated 115volt. Can I run this AC in my dedicated outlet?

If it is a dedicated 20 circuit, it could be wired for 120 or 240 volts, 20 amps, reidentify wires, hook to breaker or neutral bar and correct recpticle.

Where are you located, in the USA we have not had 110 for decades. Many people grew up hearing their parents talk about 110 but that changes long ago.
