Hello,
I have an 8 year old mix daschund and cocker spaniel who does not want to go on walks anymore. She gets all excited when I take out the leash and runs to the front door but by the time we start our walk, she just sits in the pavement and stares at everything. I ask her to keep moving but she won't go or she would get up take a couple of steps and then sit again. I have to tell you, we got her out of the shelter when she was 3 and she had a broken leg that has a metal inside, so she cannot bend that leg. It has not bother her ever, I even took her out for x-rays to see if everything was all right, the vet said that everything was good and there were no signs of arthiritis. Inside the house she plays a lot and even runs but when we go outside, she just sits there and gets up whenever she wants.
